Local Audi agent, TCY Motors Sdn Bhd, the sole dealer and distributor of the Audi brand in Brunei Darussalam, celebrated the occasion of the 19th annual Day of Unity of the Federal Republic of Germany, earlier this week.

The special reception which featured a special display on Audi and several other German brands was held at the Indera Kayangan ballroom of the Empire Hotel & Country Club in Jerudong.

The car dealer showcased the up-coming new Audi A4 which according to a statement will be available in the Sultanate by the end of this year. TCY Motors also gave away free exclusive 2009 pocket calendars as souvenirs for visitors as well as some informative materials on the award-winning Audi A4 sedan.

Audi is also celebrating its latest achievement, with triumphs at the 24 Hours of Le Mans Endurance Race and the title wins at the Le Mans series in North America and Europe.

In addition, with eight pole positions and six victories, the new Audi A4 DTM in its debut year was the most successful car of the season and superior to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

As an indication of the prowress of the upcoming Audi A4, the Audi A4 DTM is based on the production version of the A4.

TCY Motors will be bringing in the 1.8 turbo FSI variant of the new Audi A4 equipped with Audi Drive Select, Audi's Side Assist driving safety feature as well as the Bang & Olufsen sound system before the end of 2008.
