The new Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Brunei Darussalam, Dr Thomas C Bruns visited TCY Motors today, the distributor of German car manufacturer Audi in the country.
The visit took place at the Audi showroom in Lambak, as part of the Ambassador's initiative to obtain first hand information on the marketing of German cars in Brunei and to get acquainted with the distributors.
Upon arrival Dr Thomas Bruns was welcomed by the Managing Director of TCY Motors, Mr Teng Chee Khiong.
The visit started off with the envoy checking out Audi's latest arrival, the Q7 3.0 TDI and other Audi vehicle models at the showroom followed by a tour of the workshop and other facilities at the dealership.
The ambassador was also given a brief introduction and background of TCY Motors. The visit concluded with a souvenir presentation to Dr Bruns and the signing of the visitor's book.
Aside from a visit to the Audi showroom, Dr Bruns has also visited Maju Motors, the distributor of German automobile Volkswagen and QAF Auto SDN BHD, distributor of BMW to gain more insights on the development of various German-based businesses in Brunei.
