Nine plus one

A total of four 2008-spec A4 DTM cars are fielded by Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline, the team that has won the DTM title three times, in 2002, 2004 and 2007. At the wheel are drivers who have long established themselves in the DTM: title defender Mattias Ekstrљm (Sweden), Le Mans record winner Tom Kristensen (Denmark) as well as the two Germans Martin Tomczyk and Timo Scheider.

The other five Audi factory cockpits are occupied by high-calibre drivers as well: Oliver Jarvis (Great Britain), Alexandre PrЋmat (France), Mike Rockenfeller and Markus Winkelhock (both Germany) will contest the DTM in last year’s championship winning car (R13) for Audi Sport teams Phoenix and Rosberg, with the British driver Katherine Legge in a 2006-spec A4 (R12). Her team-mate in the Audi customer team Futurecom-TME is the Dutchman Christijan Albers.

Eleven races in six countries
